Tak sangka pun ye jugak :)
My last visit was 4 weeks ago (8weeks) and I could only see on the imaging, blips representing the heartbeats (kata doktor lah). Untrained eyes, I can only see the grayish thingy of tv habis siaran. So last saturday, had a follow-up visit with Dr Delaila at SDMC Subang Jaya.
The baby has formed kekekekeke. Me & hubby can see lah the head (no indication of DS), the spine (also no indication os DS) and the hands (also no indication of DS). Tangannya amboii..melenting2 gitu. Alhamdulillah all is well. Of course, the default doa applies ie pregnancy yg selamat, delivery yg lancar, anak yg sihat wal afiat bla..bla.
Hubby siap snap a photo using his phone and immediately di Whatsapp kan lah gambo tuh.
3 months, 6 more to go...I am getting old lah. Penat lah preggy2 zaman usia2 macam ni. Cepat la masa berlalu.

Macarons Laduree from Paghi
I've been to Lyon, but never bother to seek out macarons while I was there. People said it's very sweet and do not like sweet things that much. Except maybe baklava (nibble, nibble, boleh la).
Today, a colleague who's attached to Paris project, is in the office for this whole week. She brought with her macarons. Hmm..try lah why not. Emmm..memang maneh nak mampuih..tak habih la

Totally not into this...
F1 Sepang Circuit 2013. Hmmm..hubby got 2 tix. Both of us were not really eager for this. We've been to Japan GP many years ago, of course lah not the same with F1. But during the Japan GP, we were really turned off by the loud noise. Hence our lack of eagerness with F1. Mesti lagi bising kutt!
So yesterday, armed with ear plugs (we did not bring them during the Japan GP), we braved the traffic jam into Sepang, circumnavigated the circuit to find a parking spot (got one aroung P6, parking fee RM30 per entry...err..not really an entry coz it was just by roadside). Then walked all the way to the Grandstand Topaz (that took us about 1.5km one way - courtesy of Runkeeper).
It was already noisy before we passed the gatekeepers (Gate 1-5). It was unbearably noisy around the grandstand area. It was hurtfully noisy when we got to our seats. It was ear piercing painfully noisy every time the car passed in front of our stand. Gawwd!! And this was with ear plugs and I had to press hard the ear plugs.
When we took our seat, the race was into 16th laps. By 18th laps, we left. Ain't that horror? really...cannot tahan one. We truly could not appreciate it..sad huh? Maybe next time we had to wear ear plugs + ear muff, just like what we would wear during heli transfer to platforms. Oh yeah, we made a short stop to the loo before leaving the grandstand area. Heaven in the toilet! The noise was significanlt dampened (ear plugs still on).
Conclusion, watching F1 live is really not our stuff. Just watch it on TV. Perhaps in future, we might go and see it again with following conditions : ear plugs + ear muff + watch from suite (hehehe). I think, wacthing from the hillstand or even from the hill is already helpfull to reduce the noise. That's it..we really cannot stand the noise lah. Sorry ah.
Cool ke? Really..cool, ke? |
No more photo after this - hands latched to ears, too noisy! |

Natural disasters end of year
Yesterday, I read the terjemahan of Surah Maryam and I came across ayat 88-92.
What is so special about these verses ? When I flew back to KL from Lyon last year (it was around mid of Dec), I sat beside a medical doctor who loves to do voluntary works. Based on his many voluntary work experiences, he observed that natural disasters usually occurred around end of year. He said there is a Surah relevant to this.
That was the Surah and ayat2 which I read yesterday. The gist of the verses - about the langit nyaris pecah, bumi nyaris terbelah, gunung2 nyaris runtuh disebabkan kenyataan2 yg mengatakan Allah itu mempunyai anak. Christmast (celebrating son of god) at the end of year, fahimtum?
Maybe I should make a list of natural disasters, but too lazy, warrgghh.

Eating and Drinking them Hot
Had a breakfast with a colleague this morning in the office building food court. I had a kopitiam style roti (benggali) bakar and tea. My tea sloshed into the saucer when I picked up the tray. I simply poured the tea back into the cup.
Teringat waktu kecik2 dulu, when my mom used to pour hot drinks into the saucer and we kids would sip straight from the saucer. Then my colleague remarked, 'selalulah tengok orang2 alim yang buat macam tu.' Come to think of it, I was thought in my sekolah agama, that blowing hot food or hot drink is not good. Konon2 nya menyemarakkan api neraka gitu..(wuih..). Being ignorant back then, but now I decided to do some digging. Breakfast done & once I settled into my cubicle, I searched for the hadith or whatever that says as such. Tak jumpa punnnnn...hmmphh. But what I found was list of hadiths relevant to this topic.
(Shahih al-Bukhari, no. 5630)
(Sunan Abu Daud, no. 3722. Dinilai sahih oleh al-Albani)
2. Tidak Makan Makanan Yang Terlalu Panas
- 'Urwah B. Az-Zubair radhiyallahu ‘anhuma berkata: “Bahawasanya pernah beliau (Asma’ B. Abi Bakr) membuat tsarid, beliau menutupnya sehinggalah asap panasnya hilang. Kemudian beliau berkata: “Sesungguhnya aku mendengar Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam berkata: “Sesungguhnya itu menambahkan barakah.” (Musnad Ahmad, no. 26958. Dinilai sahih oleh al-Albani dan hasan oleh Syu’aib al-Arnauth)
Tsarid adalah makanan berupa campuran potongan-potongan roti dengan kuah daging.
Seee? Nothing about 'menyemarakkan api neraka' at all. I also could not find ayat alQuran or hadith yang menyatakan makruh ke atau haram ke perkara ni. And surprisingly, there is a hadith dhaif/ lemah with regards to this topic : 'Rasulullah s.a.w melarang dari memakan makanan yang masih panas hingga sejuk.' Lihat: Silsilah Ahadith Ad-Dhaifah, Al-Albani, 5230, hadis terlalu lemah.
Bottom line, it is sunnah not to blow into drinks and adalah berkat untuk makan bila asap panasnya hilang. Another thing, jangan lupa to check the validity of hadiths. Don't go around citing the hadiths yang palsu/ lemah/ dhaif. Wallahu'alam.
